Walked in for a shark tooth tattoo and Mike was able to squeeze me in later that afternoon. I showed him a picture of what I had in mind and he quickly had it drawn up and ready to go. He did an amazing job with the detail and placement and was finished so quick! I’m excited to see how it looks all healed up. Pricing was extremely fair too for such quality work. This is my second time getting tattooed at Myrtle Beach Ink and it’s definitely my go to place. I will definitely be back to work with Mike again!

This is my first time reviewing a place BEFORE, I have even gone. I've definitely decided to get my next tattoo here based on the owner's responses to their low star reviews. To me it shows that this place is serious about the quality of work that they do, and I appreciate that for one. There are nuances to tattooing that some guests getting them wouldn't be able to understand unless you were the one actually doing the tattoo. ( I say guest, because just because services like this are offered, does not mean that every person that wants the service will be accepted, "Service" providers do have the right to refuse a client asking for their services and some people out there for whateverreason cannot seem to accept that). It is in their best interests to advise the guest about their tattoos. Why? Well mainly to avoid copying other artists work, and also the quality of work. Drawing on skin is not like drawing on a flat surface, it moves and shifts, skin tone can even affect the final color of an ink. You can even get "bleeding" based on how the needles penetrait the skin if a drawing is too small! Some places on the body will accept ink more readily than others. Like I said there are NUANCES, to tattooing that guests don't realize. If you're being advised against something it is because the artist has the experience as to why it might not be a great reason to do that one little, or "simple" thing that you as a guest want. The owners comments reflects how well experienced they and their staff are and that is awesome! I can't wait to consult with them on my next tattoos. I'd give more stars if that was even possible. ^.^ y'all are Rad.

Got a small simple tattoo for me and my husband on a trip to the beach. Walked in and they got me set right up. Didn’t wait long and Caesar was our artist. He did a wonderful job and the staff was all really nice. Very affordable and a good job. Plan on adding to it later but I’m very satisfied. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Myrtle Beach Ink with my siblings, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience! The shop was spotless, which immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The front desk lady was incredibly friendly and welcoming, sending off good vibes from the moment we walked in. A special shoutout to our tattoo artist, Mike, who went above and beyond to ensure that each of us got exactly what we wanted. His attention to detail and dedication lead to amazing tattoos. Mike’s patience and professionalism made the entire process worth it. we’re all thrilled with the results.

So my two girlfriends and I travel all the time. My personal goal is to get tattoos at every place we travel as my own personal souvenir. So far we’ve been on two trips and have a third one scheduled for November. I must say walking in to Myrtle Beach Ink after coming from Miami Beach Ink I didn’t know what to expect but I will tell you I am very satisfied! Mike Mara is everything he brought my tattoo to life almost literally! He was gentle and I needed no breaks (not like I ever need breaks im a tough one) he checked on me, he talked to me throughout the process even though i had my headphones in and was just vibing to music. Oddly enough I liked that.
